Weather Forecast For 27th May 2018

Heavy rainy condition in the south-western part of the island is expected to reduce temporarily from today. Fairly strong gusty winds about 50kmph can be expected over the island.

Showers or thundershowers will occur at times in Western, Southern, Sabaragamuwa, Central and North-Western provinces.

Light showers will occur in Mannar and Jaffna districts.

Fairly heavy falls about 75mm can be expected at some places in Sabaragamuwa province and in Kaluthara, Galle and Matara districts.

There may be temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers. General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning activity.
