Will the PC Elections Conducted in January 2019 ?

President Maithripala Sirisena has reportedly informed the Sri Lanka Freedom Party members that the  provincial council election will be conducted before the end of the year.

Parliamentarian SB Dissanayake said during the Sri Lanka Freedom Party Central Committee meeting today President Sirisena had said election for several provinces must be conducted promptly and therefore he had urged the members to launch a comprehensive mechanism to face future polls.

Former Minister SB Dissanayake said the election for several provincial councils must be conducted before October or November this year.
