Four Names Under Consideration by JO For 2020 Presidential Election

While speaking to media, Joint Opposition MP Udaya Gammanpila says that discussions had been held regarding selection of Joint Opposition candidate for the 2020 Presidential Election. Names of four candidates, Gotabaya Rajapaksa, Chamal Rajapaksa, Basil Rajapaksa and Dinesh Gunawardena were under consideration in this discussion.

The MP Gammanpila announced this to the media after a joint opposition party leaders meeting  held last afternoon with former President Mahinda Rajapaksa at the chair.
