New “Blade Runner” books and comics are coming

Alcon Media Group and Titan Publishing are teaming on a new co-publishing venture with initial projects based on the universe of both “Blade Runner” and “Blade Runner 2049”.

Andrew Kosove, Broderick Johnson, Nick Landau and Vivian Cheung will develop and publish a variety of both fiction and non-fiction print media with comics and graphic novels that dive deeper into the world of the two films so far.

There will also be publications focused on the visual and technical sides of the production process with David Manley-Leach and Jeff Conner handling editorial duties.

The property has previously been adapted into other media, notably a 1997 point-and-click adventure video game.
