CMC councilor Kulathissa Deeganage remanded (Update)

(FASTNEWS|COLOMBO) – SLPP Colombo Municipal Councillor who was arrested by
Colombo Crimes Division (CCD) over recent unrest at the
Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) premises in Dematagoda, remanded until January 11 2019.

CMC councilor Kulathissa Deeganage arrested over CPC shooting

(FASTNEWS|COLOMBO) – SLPP Colombo Municipal Councillor Kulathissa Deeganage was arrested yesterday (06) by the Colombo Crimes Division (CCD) in connection with the unruly behavior at the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) premises in Dematagoda on October 28.

Police said the Councillor would be produced in Hulfsdrop Magistrate’s Court today.

Former Minister of Petroleum Resources Development Arjuna Ranatunga came under an attack by a group at the CPC premises, following the October 2018 transformation.
