Wind, showers expected in several areas today

(FASTNEWS|COLOMBO) – Wind speed can increase up to 40 – 45 kilometres per hour at times across the island particularly in Eastern, Northern, North-Central, Central, and Southern Provinces, the Department of Meteorology stated on Thursday (21).

Several spells of showers can be expected in the Eastern and Central Provinces, while fair weather will prevail elsewhere, the Met. Department further added.
