It is sad to note that efforts being made by the government and peace loving people of this country to establish reconciliation and national harmony and to prevent the recurrence of the bitter experience prevailed in the country for the last THREE decades are being shattered by the racist and extremist outfits by promoting discord and hatred among the people.
In a latest such effort the racist outfit called “Sinhala Ravaya” has called for the arrest of Minister Rishad Bathiudeen before day after tomorrow.
The General Secretary of this outfit Magalkande Sudatte Thero has alleged that Minister Bathiudeen is involved in deforestration of Wilpattju sanctuary and Madhu forest reservation and hence if the Minister was not arrested before day after tomorrow his organization will stage a huge protest demonstration in front of the Financial Crimes Investigation Department in Colombo.
