To Protect Consumers, Standards to be Fixed for Cooking Oil

 The Consumer Affairs Authority is holding discussions with the Board of Directors to introduce  standards for oil used for consumption.

Chairman, Hasitha Tillekeratne speaking to a set of guidelines will be tabled to the Srilankan   Standards (SLS) , following approval by the Board of Directors. Followed by this  a gazette notification in this regard will be issued mentioning the standards for  oil.
