Weather Forecast For 11th August 2016

Fairly strong winds at times (up to 50kmph)can be expected over the Hambantota district.

Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places in the Central, Uva, Eastern and North-Central provinces after 2.00 p.m.

A few showers can be expected in the Western, Sabaragamuwa and North-western provinces and in the Galle and Matara districts.

There may be temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers. General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning activity.
