Hakeem Praised Rishad

Minister of Industry and Commerce Rishad Bathiudeen has taken special interest in resolving problems faced  by Sugarcane  producers in Ampara district. National leader of the Sri Lanka Muslim Congress, Rauff Hakeem, who has closely observing the developments in resolving sugarcane producer’s problems has come forward and praised Rishad for doing a wonderful job.He praised Rishad in yesterday’s Parliamentary session.

Rauff  Hakeem further said,  that  Gal Oya plantation company has placed obstacles, preventing Ampara district sugarcane producers from continuing their sugarcane plantation. If a viable solution is not found, sugarcane producers will be compelled  to find  alternate ways, he said.  In this regard,  we have had several rounds of talk with the Finance Minister Ravi Karunanayake , he concluded.
