Petroleum Minister Chandima Weerakkody Protest Duty Increase on Petroleum Products

Finance Minister, Ravi Karunanayake reported to have increased duty on a petroleum product  from Rs 2  to  Rs10. Petroleum Minister, Chandima Weerakody has neither been consulted nor informed  about the increase. However, petroleum Minister is not against the increase,  but maintained that he should have been informed. Hence, he protested  against the increase.
