large Stock of Weapons Found in Tellippalai by STF

 A large stock of weapons including 160 bombs and 1600 bullets have been found from a well in Kurumbasetti, Tellippalai.

The cache of weapons were found in a well dug in a privately-owned land roughly five kilometers away from the Tellippalai police station.

The occupants of the land had informed police to inspect the well, after suspicions arose when they attempted to draw water from it.

Police said that the cache of weapons was found following a special operation carried out by the Police Special Task Force during the course of Sunday(25) .

 Further Police said that another special operation will get underway on Monday to investigate whether more weapons have been buried in close proximity to the well in question.

Among the bombs discovered were 28 heat-seeking RPGs, 23 high explosive RPGs, 28 mortars, 1600 GPMG bullets, 2 unidentified 106mm bombs, 66 40mm Tomba bombs, 6 81-motor bombs.
