No Bail to Karuna Amman

Former Deputy  Vinayagamoorthy Muralitharan alias Karuna Amman   was arrested on 29 November 2016 for allegedly misusing a state vehicle.  He was remanded until 07 December after being produced before the Colombo Chief Magistrate.
His lawyers  filed bail  application on behalf of him. The Colombo Magistrate’s Court today (5)  rejected  his bail application.
