North Most Drought Affected Request Made to Use Water Sparingly

Minister of Disaster Management, Anura Priyadarshana Yapa  has requested water consumers  to use water sparingly. If  there is a shortage for water , no one can put forward a solution .

According to the report issued by the Disaster Management Center ,North is the most affected area,  where  450,000 people are affected . In the East 105,000 people are affected.

Under these circumstances, steps have been taken  to provide drinking water to  those,  who are affected , said, Disaster Management Center  Assistant Director Pradeep  Kodippili.
