The Local Government Elections Bill Passed in Parliament

The Local Government Elections Bill  presented in parliament was passed this afternoon with amendments.

While 120 members of Parliament voted in favour of the bill , 44 Parliamentarians of the Joint Opposition abstained from voting. No one  voted against the amended Local Government Elections Bill.
