SLFP Members of the JO Vacated Posts Not Removed

President Maithripala Sirisena had last week removed joint opposition members Kumara Welgama and Mahindananda Aluthgamage from their SLFP Organizer posts and replaced with new faces.Chandrika was among them.

Chandrika says that she was appointed SLFP Organizer for Attanagalla much earlier and not last week. Kumaratunga told reporters that “I got this post two year ago,” she said. But she says that she only received the formal letter last
week together with a few other SLFP member.
