ACMC former Secretary General Y.L.Hameed filed a case in Colombo District Court seeking to invalidate selection of Rishad as President, M.S.S.Ameer Ali as Treasure ,S.Subaideen as Secretary General and fifteen Members to decision making body (Masoora Council) and General Meeting held on 17.01.2016 in Kurunegala.
This case was taken up for hearing on 21st January 2016 before the Colombo District Judge S.Gunasekara. Lawyers appeared for both sides placed their arguments for about one and half hours. After hearing arguments by both lawyers, District Court Judge ruled that only a notice could be issued to defendants tonight (21.01.16) and refused to issue Interim Injection. Further hearing was postponed to 23rd March 2016.
