Thajudeen Murder Case- Arrest of 6 Imminent – CID Sources

Vasim Thajudeen , Rugger Player was killed during the year 2012. Then investigators and Doctors gave report that was an accident and death caused due to fire erupted following the accident.
After Good Governance Government came into power, application was made to resurrect the case. So it was reopened  and looked at different ankle.
Subsequent investigations and medical reports indicated foul play in his killing. CID went deep into the case and found  sufficient evidence.
Case was filed by the CID in the Colombo Chief Magistrate Court. On last Thursday, 25th February 2016, the Chief Magistrate came to a conclusion that  based on evidence placed before him, that this was a murder and ordered CID to arrest all those responsible for hiding this murder within 3o days.
CID sources disclosed that they have identified six suspects in connection with the murder of Rugger player, Vasim Thajudeen.

As per order given by the Chief Magistrate of Colombo, all six will be arrested in a few days time, same sources said.

Based on 16 evidences these six  will be arrested and subject to interrogation, which will disclose  the motive for the killing and other connected matters.

Among those identified by the CID,Captain Wimalasena is one , who  said to be the former driver  of Mahinda Rajapakshe.
