Inclement Weather Condition Compelled Colleges Closure

In the Central Province, several schools will be closed today due to the inclement  weather experienced in the area.

Accordingly Dharmaraja College Kandy, Mahamaya Girls School, Pushpadana and 5 other schools will remain closed. Provincial Education Director Tilak Ekanayake said officials were granted the authority to take a decision on closing the schools taking into consideration the weather condition. He said a selected few schools will be closed.

Furthermore, several schools in the Western and North Central provinces remain closed today due to the inclement weather in the area.
