Manusha Nanayakkara Against Granting Service Extension to CBG, Arjuna Mahendran

Central Bank Governor Arjuna Mahendran, said to be involved in the alleged bond scam at the bank. Deputy Minister Manusha Nanayakkara said yesterday that he was opposed to granting a service extention to Arjuna Mahendran.

Nanayakkara said, that he will never tolerate on financial frauds. He also revealed that the SLFP seniors  in the government had discussed the matter of the Central Bank Governor with the President and the Prime Minister.

But no conclusive decision has been taken in this connection.
