Two New Members Appointed in COPE

Two new members have been appointed to the Committee on Public Enterprises  COPE.

Accordingly United People’s Freedom Alliance MP Mahindananda Aluthgamage and United National Party MP MAM Maharoof are the new inclusions.

COPE Chairman, Sunil Handunneththi said the committee took into consideration requests for a member of the acclaimed joint opposition to be included in the committee that led to the appointment of MP Aluthgamage.

Further , MP Handunneththi said the appointments comes into effect from yesterday(10).
