Traffic Congestion at Fort Railway Station Due to IUSF Protest

The police said, traffic congestion reported around the Fort railway station and along the Olcott Mawatha due to a protest march by university students. The protest has been staged demanding the immediate release of the Convener of the Inter University Students’ Federation , Lahiru Weerasekara, who was remanded for violating a court order. Lahiru Weerasekara was remanded until July 15 after being produced before the Fort Magistrate earlier.
