No Price Change For Milk Powder Price

Minister of Finance Ravi Karunanayake said that  the government has not given permission to increase the price of  milk powder. Even though the imported milk powder is coming under VAT, there is a   price control for milk powder. Therefore the milk powder companies cannot increase the price without approval from the government.

The milk powder companies are ready to talk with the ministry of finance to get a tax concession for imported milk powder.
