Expose Dual Citizenship Holding MPs

JVP MP Vijitha Herath  while speaking in Parliament yesterday on the verdict  given by the Appeal Court, that UPFA  MP Geetha Kumarasinghe cannot hold the post of an MP since he holds Switzerland  citizenship said, that there are some more MPs and a few Ministers holing dual citizenship are in the Parliament.

19th amendment to the  Srilanka Constitution clearly states  that a person holding dual citizenship cannot  be selected as an MP. What is applicable to MP Geetha Kumarasinghe is applicable to others too. Hence, expose those MPs holding dual citizenship to this  house, he insisted.
