Weather Forecast For 7th May 2017

Showers or thundershowers will occur atseveral places in the most provinces of the island after 2.00p.m.

Showers can be expected in the coastal area of Southern and Western provinces during the morning too.

Fairly heavy falls (about 75 mm) can be expected at some places particularly in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, North-western, North-central and Southern provinces.

There may be temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers. General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning activity.
