Vavuniya HC Imposed Death Sentences on 5 Suspects

Vavuniya High Court Judge Balendran Shashi Mahendran has passed death sentences on Five suspects accused of murders . All five death sentences were passed on one day in three murder cases.

In Sundarapuram Kandasamy Sugandan murder case , Kuddappam Velautham  and his sons, Velautham Dineshkumar  and Velautham Manoraj , death sentences were  imposed on them.

In another case  in respect of murdering a popular ice  sweet product businessman called , Nilane Arachchige  Dharmakeerthi  from Moonrumudichchu by setting fire to his room while he was sleeping. In this case his wife Jeyakody Arachchige was imposed death sentence.

 In the third case  for  forcibly  entering a house in Sasthirikulam , robbing  jewellery and killing 19 year old  Sivakumar  Indumathi  death sentence was passed on  Viswanathan Kanaka Manokaran.
