Non Appearance of Gnanasara Thera in Court of Appeal Today
When the contempt of court case against General Secretary of the Bodu Bala Sena organisation Galagodaththe Gnanasara Thera was taken up on 24th May 2017 ,he didn’t appear before the court.
When the postponed case was taken up for hearing today before the Court of Appeal , lawyers appearing on behalf of him have informed the Court that he didn’t appear in person due to death threat to his live.
Hence the Court postponed the hearing to 17th July.
