School Transport Van Driven by a Student?

The Traffic OIC of the Kandana Police while on duty yesterday (20)spotted a student in school uniform aged 17 years old, driving a school van and dropping off several students off at several schools in the area.

He had followed the van and, when she stopped to drop another batch of students off in another school, he had requested her to produce her driving license and vehicle registration book. She said, that she did not possess a valid driving license, but produced the vehicle registration book.

The Traffic OIC of the Kandana Police has confiscated the vehicle registration book and asked her to come along with her mother to the police station to collect the registration book of the vehicle.
