Mahinda Amaraweera Announced Cancellation of Samurdhi Amendment Circular

Samurdhi beneficiaries staged protest demonstrations during last few days alleging that the Government has cut  Samurdhi payments.

Consequent  to these demonstrations, the Cabinet Sub-Committee has decided to cancel the Samurdhi Amendment Circular, Minister Mahinda Amaraweera said.
