Deployment of Army in Railway Stations?

Followed by railway services declared as an essential service and gazette issued, steps have been taken to ensure security at railway stations against sabotage and damage that may be caused that by striking railway employees.

If the strike continues, steps will be taken to send a set of Army offices to India to get them trained in railway operations.

The government has decided to deploy army to restore the train services, said Deputy Minister of Transport Ashok Abysinghe.
