12,000 Chinese &10,000 Indian Workers in Srilanka – Army Commander

Army commander Mahesh Senanayake has told the Hindu newspaper , that 12,000 Chinese and 10,000 Indian citizens are engaged in Srilanka by various interests.

There are 13,109  former LTTE cadres in Srilanka and some of them have migrated to foreign countries. From there they spread false propaganda that they cannot return and work in Srilanka.

Further, he said that there are 236,000 army in service and he reduced it by 50,000, he concluded.
