“UPFA election campaign in Kurunegala has collapsed” – Akila Viraj

 

Minister of Education Akila Viraj Kariyawasam says that the United People’s Freedom Alliance (UPFA) election campaign in Kurunegala district has completely collapsed.

The Minister stated this while speaking during a media briefing held at his party office in Kuliyapitiya this morning.

Meanwhile, former Parliamentarian Namal Rajapaksa stated that he was asked to appear before the FCID tomorrow.

He stated this while making a statement in his Twitter profile.

However, former MP Dilan Perera stated that the Election Commissioner has informed to refrain from summoning election candidates to the FCID prior to the election.

He stated this while addressing a UPFA media briefing convened in Colombo today.
