Minister Rishad Bathiudeen pledges support for consensual government process

 

Following the unanimous election of Mr. Karu Jayasuriya as the Speaker of the Parliament, party leaders extended greetings to him and well wished him.

All Ceylon People’s Congress Leader (ACMC) Mr. Rishard Badhiutheen greeting and extending well wishes to the speaker said that they will help the process of national government. He said that even if the 20th amendment is passed, it should not discriminate against minority parties. Mr. Bathiudeen also stated that people have rejected communal parties through the election held recently.
