School Doors closed for over 2000 Grade I Students – Alleged Joseph Stalin

Srilanka Teachers Association Secretary, Joseph Stalin alleged that more than 2000 Grade I students are forced to stay at home without having schools to proceed with their studies. But the Minister of Education denied this allegation and dismissed it, stating that all students can’t be admitted to National Schools. Grade I students should be accommodated in schools in Divisional Secretariat areas where they live is his policy, he said.
